The Leadership Academy

Onboarding Process

The onboarding process is the foundation of the Everyday Principal Leadership Academy—designed to create early alignment, shared language, and immediate impact. Through five focused sessions, principals and assistant principals explore the core fundamentals of great leadership, including peak performance, authentic identity, instructional clarity, culture-building, and long-term systems thinking. Delivered in an engaging, thought-provoking format, onboarding sets the tone for the Academy experience by equipping every leader with the mindset, tools, and direction needed to grow themselves and those they lead.

As a strategic bonus, a dedicated Superintendent Session anchors the district’s long-term vision and prepares central office leadership to play a critical role in sustaining growth across the partnership.

Onboarding Courses

Learning Management System (LMS)

The Everyday Principal LMS is the backbone of the Leadership Academy—a centralized hub that supports ongoing, role-specific learning for principals, assistant principals, and district leaders. Built to track progress, award CEUs, and drive continuous growth, the LMS provides 24/7 access to a tiered system of resources including microlearning modules, podcast episodes, leadership publications, and customized district courses. It creates a seamless learning experience that empowers leaders to grow at their own pace while staying connected to a larger professional community. Districts benefit from transparent reporting tools that offer insight into engagement, progress, and overall leadership development across the system.

Tier 1 Assets

Everyday Principal Blog

The Everyday Principal Blog is the entry point for ongoing professional learning—timely, practical, and grounded in the real world of school leadership. Each post is crafted to connect with the everyday challenges principals face, from culture-building and instructional leadership to burnout and time management. These aren’t just articles; they’re strategic reflections, designed to offer insight and move leaders from awareness to action. Written in the same voice and framework that drives the FOUNDATIONS book and the Leadership Academy, the blog ensures that every principal has immediate access to relevant, research-informed learning—anytime, anywhere.

EP Podcasts

EP Talks brings the voices of school leaders to life through a curated podcast series that blends storytelling, research, and professional insight. Hosted by Everyday Principal and featuring both current principals and national thought leaders, each episode is short, focused, and built around one key leadership theme. Whether it’s a conversation on leading through crisis or a reflection on building trust with staff, EP Talks offers a space where listeners can learn, reflect, and feel seen. It’s leadership development for the drive to work, the walk to a classroom, or the moment between meetings—because real learning doesn’t have to wait for a workshop.

Tier 2 Assets

EP Publishing

EP Publishing is more than a platform—it’s a professional growth experience. Designed to elevate the voices of school leaders, this asset invites participants to write, publish, and share their leadership insights with peers across the nation. Whether contributing to the Everyday Principal blog, co-authoring a field guide, or drafting a research-informed reflection, leaders engage in deep thinking and authentic authorship. Writing is treated as both a leadership practice and a professional contribution, helping participants clarify their thinking, grow their influence, and take ownership of their own development. This is how reflection becomes leadership—and how leadership becomes legacy.

The EP Collaborative

Leadership can be isolating, but it should never be done alone. EP Collaborative is a structured space for connection, peer coaching, and shared learning. Participants engage in facilitated learning groups, collaborative problem-solving sessions, and reflective protocols that help surface challenges and build collective capacity. Whether it’s troubleshooting a new district initiative, co-developing feedback strategies, or simply sharing wins and lessons learned, EP Collaborative transforms professional development into a shared journey. This is where leaders sharpen each other—and where great ideas scale across schools, not just within them.
